This was absolutely gorgeous... heartwrenching, but just beautifully written. You captured Brian, Justin, and Emmett so well in their characterization. I loved how seamlessly you transitioned from the fairly mundane of Justin and Emmett's holiday preparations to the life-alteringly poignant exchange between Justin and Brian.
