GIFT REQUEST: Fic. I am open to pretty much anything that is done realistically. Definitely a fan of the WAFF (more like a happy ending or something humorous/feelgood; not overly schmoopy), but a little angst or H/C along the way is fine. Brian/Justin must be the main pairing, but including other characters is fine. They do not have to be together at the beginning, but definitely by the end. Preferably future fic (that stays true to the original canon -- nothing AU prior to the series ending). As a general theme, I like when Brian lets his guard down a bit and allows Justin into the internal workings of his mind/insecurities, but any plot that strikes the author's fancy is good with me!
NOTE: This is a future fic, set in Britin four and a half years after the series ends. It’s written in the future verse as this series, but can definitely be read as a standalone. It is a little angsty, but has some fun elements. I think I did all my homework!

NOTE: This was difficult to write, because I can’t restrict myself to light angst when it comes to the cancer arc. So I’m giving you hurt/comfort for Brian, concerned Justin and a reasonable dose of angst – I hope this is close to what you had in mind and that you like it. I’m not too happy with the end product, so I hope you can forgive me! This fic is a gapfiller series set between S4E9 and S4E12 (because a 4600 word fic cannot conceivably be a gapfiller for just one episode). The title comes from a Bon Jovi song of the same name. Have a wonderful Christmas, and all the very, very best for 2016!
