Basically you offer what you're willing to create, medium wise (abilities), length (and not willing ie death!fic or AUs or something) and then I pair that with a request/prompt from someone else, which could be anything from post-513 to whatever.
you could request a vid, (providing a song and theme usually), a fanmix, some sort of graphic or icons (like if you needed some graphic for the 3rd part of your series or something) or headers/banners, picspams, gifs... Seriously, some awesome graphics people have signed up. but you're always welcome to request fic as well.
