Thank you so much!! This was a tough one, but I hope I did it justice! I always imagined Brian would take Joan's death harder than he did Jack's, for a variety of reasons.

I threw in the bit at the end on a whim, re: Gus being included, because it dawned on me that that could be something fun to explore, if I ever continued within this 'verse. Maybe Brian hasn't seen the last of Claire, lol... we'll see :P
