Thanks Mander! I'm really glad you enjoyed this story :-) The beginning of season 2 is one of my favourite parts in the whole series because we get to see the soft, caring side of Brian. I got the sense that Justin's psychological recovery from the bashing was relatively quick - maybe four or five months - but I can imagine him having isolated episodes for a while. Having some 'time outs' was probably good for them both ;-)
