Thanks :-) I'm thrilled that you enjoyed this story, and that you found the characters to be ICC. I find Jennifer and Brian's relationship fascinating because they go from being adversaries to allies to friends. They don't seem to have much in common besides Justin, and yet they manage to find common ground. It's interesting what happens to Justin and Brian's relationship after the bashing. Even when Brian accepts that the bashing wasn't his fault, he still seems to take responsibility for Justin's recovery. And I think Justin also recognizes that Brian was also traumatized by the events, and helps him through that. I think it really brought them closer.
